Holly played at both Cal Poly SLO and Fresno State. Following college, she played professionally overseas in Sweden. When she retired, Holly was the head coach at Porterville College for 2 years. She continued to become the director of volleyball operations and interim assistant coach at Fresno state. She is currently the head varsity coach at Centennial High School.​
